1. What we collect

If you are a tradie: your name, mobile, email, trade and anything you tell us about your experience. During screening this can include your licence, years qualified, suburb, current pay, availability, notice period and whether you have a ute and tools. We also collect supervisor references and confirm your right to work.
If you visit this site: our hosting and content providers receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type.
2. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you through our website form, phone calls and SMS. We also collect it from public sources such as business listings and licence registers, and from the referees you give us.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and fill the role you have briefed us on.
- To screen candidates and match them with suitable employers.
- To keep suitable tradies on file for future roles.
- To contact businesses about our service. You can opt out at any time, including by replying STOP to an SMS.
- To run our business and meet our legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
Employers. We ask a tradie's permission before sending their details to an employer.
Referees and registers. We contact referees you give us and check licences on public registers.
Service providers. We use outside providers to run our website, form, customer records and messaging. They handle information only to provide those services. They are Omnio, our customer records system owned by CLBR Ventures Pty Ltd, Boost, which sends our SMS messages, and Vercel, which hosts this site. Website form submissions are processed on our own n8n system, hosted in Sydney.
We don't sell personal information. We may also disclose it where the law requires us to.
5. Overseas
Website form submissions are processed and stored in Australia. Some of our other service providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
6. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Tradies can ask us to remove them from our records at any time.
7. Cookies
This site does not currently set cookies or use analytics. It stores your cookie choice in your browser, and briefly stores a timer that prevents the form being sent twice. If we add analytics, it will only run if you accept through the cookie banner. You can change your choice using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page.
The site loads fonts from Google and images from Unsplash, so those providers receive your IP address when you visit.
8. Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Call us on 0475 162 245 or use our contact form, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, call us on 0475 162 245 or use our contact form, and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
